Mother’s Day Top 5 Gifts For New Moms

Mother’s Day Top 5 Gifts For New Moms

Are you a new mom or mom to be? Will this be your first Mother’s Day? I remember my first Mother’s Day May 2013. Life changed in a major way and being celebrated that first time remains one of the highlights of my motherhood journey. Moms to be, new moms, seasoned moms, mother figures will all love and appreciate these gifts.

Mother’s Day

The Fab 5 Five enjoyed a night out at Ted’s Montana Grill where we talked all things Motherhood and Mother’s Day. But the food! The food stole the show. And you know for this expecting mama, that was a good thing. Here’s a video of our Moms Night Out at Ted’s Montana Grill.

Locket
For my first Mother’s Day, the Hubs gave me a diamond cross and a locket. For my locket, I wear it on special occasions and I am always looking for the next picture to crop so I can wear it. Yes I have a collection of locket sized photos. Baby E will make his debut in the collection soon.

Babysitting/Chef or Housekeeping
These items showed up in my Top 5 Valentine’s Day for Moms post. I stand by them especially for new moms. Here’s the thing: Moms no matter what we do, need a break. Volunteer to babysit even if only for a few hours so mom can shower, exercise or just sleep. Hire a personal chef for the day or even for a few surprise meals. Housekeeper, nothing else needs to be said about this one. As a stay at home mom, I want all of these. ALL OF THEM!

Photobook
How many pictures did you take of your new bundle of joy? Over 10K here but guess what? In this day and age so many pictures sit on a computer or hard drive. Order mom a few photo books if she has tons of picks already or give her a photobook subscription or gift card. I’ll be sharing my Chatbook collection soon.

Journal
Baby thoughts, life thoughts, reminscing on the life before baby thoughts, future thoughts, hopes and dreams. We tend to express so many things on social media but there is nothing like a good old fashion journal. It’s a great way to keep tidbits of memories handy and to reflect on where you have been and where you are going.

Subscription Box
Yes to the subscription box. There are tons out there for kids, moms, dads, etc. so it won’t be hard to pick one. What does this new mom love? Purchase a box that speaks to something she loves just for her. On my list:
